【摘要】:Basicityisaratio.Inanychromicsaltsolution,theelectrovalenceofthechromium(+3)issatisfiedbythehydroxylionsandbyacidions.Theextenttowhichthiselectravalenceissatisfiedbythehydroxylions,expressedasapercentage,isthebasicity.Thebasicityofachrometanningliquidiscloselyrelatedtothetanningbehaviorofthesolution.1.1Thispracticeisintendedtoshowhowtheresultsofthechromiumanalysis(TestMethodD3898)andtheaciditydetermination(TestMethodD3913)canbecombinedtopermitcalculationofthebasicityofachrometanningliquor.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
