【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovertheconstructionandoperationofhalocarboncleanagentfireextinguishingsystemunitsintendedtobeinstalled,inspected,tested,andmaintainedinaccordancewiththeStandardonCleanAgentFireExtinguishingSystems,NFPA2001.1.2Theserequirementsalsocoverhalocarboncleanagentautomaticextinguisherunitsthatdonothaveamanualmeansofoperation,andareintendedtobeusedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer''sinstallationinstructions.Automaticextinguisherunitsarenotintended:a)Foruseasageneralsubstituteforpre-engineeredorengineeredcleanagentextinguishingsystemunits;orb)Forprotectionoffireriskslargerthanthosespecifiedinthemanufacturer'sinstructionsforasingleunitbyusingmultipleunits.1.3Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
