【摘要】:Coversaprogramapplicabletopartsthathavebeenmoldedorfabricatedfrompolymericmaterialanddescribethematerial-identitycontrolsystemintendedtoprovidetraceabilityofthematerialusedforthepolymericpartsthroughthehandling,moldingorfabrication,andshippingoperations.Guidelinesarealsoprovidedforacceptableblendingorsimplecompoundingoperationsthatmayaffectriskoffire,electricalshock,orinjurytopersons.Thisprogramisintendedtoprovidequickverificationofmaterialidentificationbymeansofanidentificationmarkingonthepart,oronthecartoninwhichthepartisshipped,orinaspecificationsheetplacedwithintheshippingcartonwiththepart.Thisprogramisintendedtoeliminatetheuncertaintyofthepolymericmaterialidentityintheend-useproductandtoreducethepossibilityoffieldproblemscausedbytheuseofincorrectcompounds.
