【摘要】:Thispracticewillbesuitabletodirectthepreparationoftestcouponswithaknownamountofcontaminantonthesurface.Astandardtestcouponisdescribedandalistofcontaminantsthathavetypicallybeenfoundinoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponentsisprovided.Thesecouponsshallbeusedintheevaluationofcleaningagentsforoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponents.Thiswillpermitdirectcomparisonwithinandbetweentestfacilities.Materialsusedinotherfluidhandlingsystemssuchasnitrogen,helium,hydrogen,gasoline,etc.mayalsobepreparedforevaluationbythispractice.1.1Thispracticedescribestheprocedureforthepreparationofsingle-anddouble-sidedcontaminatedmetallictestcouponsfortheevaluationofcleaningagents.Itisapplicablefortheevaluationofcleaningagentsproposedforthecleaningofoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponents.Italsoisapplicabletoothersystemswherecontaminationisaconcern.1.2Severalclassesofcontaminantsmostlikelytobefoundinoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponentsareidentified.However,iftheuserofthispracticehasidentifiedcontaminantsnotincludedintheseclasses,suchidentifiedcontaminantsmaybesubstitutedforthepreparationofthetestcoupons.1.3Preparationofnonmetallicsubstratesisnotaddressed,althoughsimilarmethodologymaybeused.Solventandcleaningagentcompatibilitywiththenonmetallicsubstrateshouldbeverifiedpriortothepreparationofthetestcoupons.TypicalnonmetallicmaterialsutilizedinoxygensystemsarecontainedinGuideG63.Thispracticemayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhomeverusesthispracticetoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thispracticewillbesuitabletodirectthepreparationoftestcouponswithaknownamountofcontaminantonthesurface.Astandardtestcouponisdescribedandalistofcontaminantsthathavetypicallybeenfoundinoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponentsisprovided.Thesecouponsshallbeusedintheevaluationofcleaningagentsforoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponents.Thiswillpermitdirectcomparisonwithinandbetweentestfacilities.Materialsusedinotherfluidhandlingsystemssuchasnitrogen,helium,hydrogen,gasoline,etc.mayalsobepreparedforevaluationbythispractice.1.1Thispracticedescribestheprocedureforthepreparationofsingle-anddouble-sidedcontaminatedmetallictestcouponsfortheevaluationofcleaningagents.Itisapplicablefortheevaluationofcleaningagentsproposedforthecleaningofoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponents.Italsoisapplicabletoothersystemswherecontaminationisaconcern.1.2Severalclassesofcontaminantsmostlikelytobefoundinoxygen-enrichedsystemsandcomponentsareidentified.However,iftheuserofthispracticehasidentifiedcontaminantsnotincludedintheseclasses,suchidentifiedcontaminantsmaybesubstitutedforthepreparationofthetestcoupons.1.3Preparationofnonmetallicsubstratesisnotaddressed,althoughsimilarmethodologymaybeused.Solventandcleaningagentcompatibilitywiththenonmetallicsubstrateshouldbeverifiedpriortothepreparationofthetestcoupons.TypicalnonmetallicmaterialsutilizedinoxygensystemsarecontainedinGuideG63.Thispracticemayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhomeverusesthispracticetoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
