【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60695specifiesasmall-scalelaboratoryscreeningprocedureforcomparingtherelativeburningbehaviourofspecimensmadefromplasticsandothernon-metallicmaterials,aswellastheirresistancetoburn-throughwhenexposedtoaflameignitionsourceof500Wnominalpower.Thismethodisapplicabletobothsolidmaterialsandcellularplasticmaterialshavinganapparentdensityof250kg/morgreaterwhendeterminedinaccordancewithISO845.Itdoesnotapplytothinmaterialsthatshrinkawayfromtheappliedflamewithoutigniting,forwhichISO9773shouldbeused.Thetestmethoddescribedisintendedtocharacterizematerialperformance,forexampleforquality-controlpurposes,andisnotintendedtoassessthebehaviourtofireofbuildingmaterialsorfurnishings.Itmaybeusedforthepre-selectionofamaterial,providedthatpositiveresultsareobtainedatathicknesswhichequalsthesmallestthicknessusedintheapplication.Theresultsobtainedprovidesomeinformationaboutthebehaviourofplasticmaterialsinservice,butcanneverbythemselvesassuresafeperformanceinservice.NOTE-Testresultsareinfluencedbymaterialcomponents,e.g.pigments,fillers,andfireretardants,andpropertiessuchasthedirectionofanisotropyandthemolecularmass.Thistestmethodprovidesaclassificationsystem(see8.3.7)whichmaybeusedforqualityassuranceorthepre-selectionofcomponentmaterialsofproducts.
