【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesamethodofmeasurementofdistillationrangeofvolatileorganicliquids.Therelativevolatilityoforganicliquidscanbeusedwithothertestsforidentificationandmeasurementofquality.Therefore,thistestmethodprovidesatestprocedureforassessingcompliancewithaspecification.Thistestmethodalsoprovidesanempiricalvalueofresidue,solventrecoverycapacity,andloss(ornon-recovery)onheating.Organicliquidsareusedassolventsinmanychemicalprocesses.Astherelativevolatility,residualmatterandrecoverycapabilityaffecttheefficiencyoftheseprocesses,thistestmethodisusefulinmanufacturingcontrol.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedistillationrangeofliquidsboilingbetween30and350C,thatarechemicallystableduringthedistillationprocess,bymanualorautomaticdistillationprocedures.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoorganicliquidssuchashydrocarbons,oxygenatedcompounds,chemicalintermediates,andblendsthereof.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedoracalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.5Forhazardinformationandguidance,seethesupplier''sMaterialSafetyDataSheet.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.

【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesstandardproceduresforobtainingrepresentativesamplesofvariousmaterialsusedasasourceoftanninsforthetanningindustry.Proceduresaredescribedforobtainingrepresentativesamplesofeconomicalandconvenientquantitiesfromalot,orsectionsofalot,ofmaterialforexaminationandanalysissothatagreementmaybereachedwithregardtotheextentofvariationofqualityindifferentportionsofalotandtheaveragequalityoftheentirelotofmaterial.Nodirectionsforsampling,howeverexplicit,cantaketheplaceofjudgment,skill,andpreviousexperienceonthepartofpersonsactuallyengagedinthesamplingorthesupervisionofthesampling.Thesedirectionsareintendedtosupplementthatexperienceand,particularly,toserveasaguideintheselectionofthemethodwhichistobeused,incommon,byeachoftwoormorecontractingparties.Tanningmaterialscontainmoistureinvaryingamounts,dependingbothonthenatureofthematerialandontheclimaticconditions,sothatsamplingmustbecarriedoutasquicklyasisconsistentwiththoroughnessinordertoavoidchangesinmoisturecontent.1.1Thispracticecoversobtainingrepresentativesamplesfromshipmentlotsofbotanicalmaterialscontainingtannin.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
