【摘要】:Theamountofleaddrierusedinoxidizing-typecoatingssignificantlyaffectstheirdryingproperties.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoconfirmthestatedleadcontentofpureliquidleaddriersolubleinglacialaceticacidandmanufacturedforusebythecoatingsindustry.1.1Thistestmethodcoversatitrimetricdeterminationofleadinliquidpaintdriersthatcanbedissolvedinglacialaceticacidandutilizesthedisodiumsaltofethylenediaminetetraaceticaciddihydrate(EDTA).1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletodrierblends.Ifdriersotherthancobaltarepresent,theymayinterferebyreactingwithEDTAundertheconditionsusedforanalysis.1.3AllcationsthatcanbetitratedwithEDTAinalkalinemediainterfereandmustnotbepresentinthesample.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
